We welcome applications from both internal and external students who are looking to join a supportive, ambitious, and high-achieving Sixth Form community. Our Sixth Form offers a broad range of A Level and Level 3 courses, strong pastoral support, and excellent guidance for university, apprenticeships and future pathways.

Please read through the subject pages and course information carefully before expressing an interest in up to 5 subjects on the application form. Please note that subjects are timetabled based on demand, so this is an initial expression of interest. It is recommended that students study 3 subjects at KS5. Students will have the opportunity to gain additional qualifications once they have enroled in the Sixth Form, such as an Extended Project Qualification and/or Core Maths.

Please attend our open evenings or arrange to visit Huish Sixth to talk to subject leaders and the Head of Huish Sixth about your subject choices.

Complete the application form to indicate the courses of interest.

You will then be invited to attend a meeting to discuss your application.

You will be offered a provisional place which will be subject to achieving the required grades for the courses you have chosen.

You will be invited to an Induction Day in the Summer term to prepare you for your start at Huish Sixth Form.

When you receive your GCSE results, you will be contacted to confirm you have met the requirements for your chosen course or have a further discussion about your options.
